Title: District-Level Chief Minister’s Youth Engagement Programme Held in North Garo Hills

Smti Winje R. G. Momin, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills, graced the programme as the Chief Guest. Emphasising the importance of courage and participation, she encouraged the participants to make the most of such platforms. She said that participation itself was an achievement and urged the youth to actively engage in such programmes, which could help them develop their skills and prepare for future career opportunities.

“Not everyone will take away a trophy, but what matters is participation,” she said, encouraging the participants to view the experience as an opportunity to learn, grow and build confidence.

Shri B. M. Hajong, DSEO, North Garo Hills, who attended the programme as the Guest of Honour, lauded the initiative of the Chief Minister in creating platforms for students and youth across the State. He said that such platforms provide opportunities to identify and nurture young talent and, with appropriate support, could help transform these talents into future employment opportunities. He also stressed the importance of Discipline, Dedication and Hard Work as key elements for success.
