Content contribution, moderation & approval policy (CMAP) 

Contents on the State portal are maintained and owned by the Government of Meghalaya. The contents on the State Portal are added and published after the approval from the respective Departments. CMS of the State Portal has a workflow. Every Department has selected a Creator to create the content, Web Information Manager to moderate and to approve the content and finally a Publisher from IT Department will publish all the approved Contents send by the respective department.

Web Content review policy (CRP) 

All possible efforts need to be taken to keep the content on the Portal current and up-to-date. This Content Review Policy defines the   roles and responsibilities of the Portal content review and the manner in which it need to be carried out. Review Policies are defined for the diverse content elements.  
The Review Policy is based on different type of content types, its validity and relevance as well as the archival policy. 
The Nodal Officer of each department will review the contents once a week.

Content archival policy (CAP)

The content shall not be displayed on the State Portal after the validity date.
Some of the short lived contents of the content types like contact directory, announcement, tenders, recruitments etc which will not have any relevance on the portal after the event or intended purpose. The content components like documents, reports, what’s new are to be regularly reviewed as per the Content Review Policy.
The content is to be reviewed every time prior to the validity date and if required revalidate the content and modify the validity date. If content is not relevant, then the content is archived. The expired contents are also archived.
