Title: 1st MLA Connect Programme of 28-Sohra Assembly Constituency Held at Sohkynduh

Addressing the gathering, the MLA highlighted the purpose and importance of the MLA Connect Programme, which seeks to strengthen communication and coordination between elected representatives, local communities, and government departments. He stated that the programme provides an important platform to understand the challenges faced by the people at the grassroots level and to identify appropriate measures for addressing their concerns.
The MLA further emphasised the need for stronger cooperation between the public and government departments so that issues affecting local communities can be brought to the attention of the concerned authorities and the necessary assistance and benefits can reach the people.
During the programme, representatives and residents from the participating villages were given an opportunity to raise issues and highlight their needs. Key concerns included healthcare facilities, the condition of roads and village pathways, inadequate drinking water supply, and frequent power outages in recent times. The residents stated that these issues have affected their daily lives, mobility, and access to essential services
