The visit focused on strengthening follow-up at the community level, reviewing the circumstances surrounding a reported maternal death and assessing newborn care practices and support provided to families at the household level.
Dr. Khan was accompanied by Pronoti Barman, LHV, Sheikh Latifa Nargish, PHN, Salim Miah, S.I and Imran Haque, NCD DEO.
The field visit highlighted the importance of regular home-based follow-up, early identification of health risks among mothers and newborns, and timely referral and intervention through the public health system
