Title: CEO Meghalaya Reviews Notice Delivery, Hearings, Claims & Objections and Grievance Redressal under SIR 2026

Description:
The meeting reviewed, inter alia, the status of generation and delivery of notices, scheduling and conduct of hearings, No Mapping and mapping discrepancy cases, claims and objections received after publication of the Draft Electoral Roll, grievance redressal mechanisms and other activities required to be completed within the prescribed SIR timeline.
The CEO also reviewed the follow-up action arising from the weekly review meeting with representatives of the Recognized National and State Political Parties held on 18th August, 2026, during which the progress of the SIR, appointment of Booth Level Agents (BLAs), issuance and service of notices, hearing process, publication of claims and objections and grievance redressal mechanisms were discussed. Political parties and their BLAs have been requested to continue assisting electors during this important phase of the revision
