Title: Directorate of Prosecution Meghalaya Conducts First State-Level Training on e-Prosecution to Strengthen Digital Prosecution Management

The programme received very positive feedback, with participating prosecutors expressing interest in more such practical sessions to strengthen prosecution capacity, improve digital case management and further institutionalize prosecution in Meghalaya. The programme concluded with an interactive feedback session and distribution of certificates.
The next phase of the training programme will be scheduled shortly for the prosecutors of the Garo Hills Districts, in collaboration with the same institutional partners—NIC Shillong, the NIC e-Prosecution Team, New Delhi, and the State Crime Records Bureau/CCTNS IT Section. The initiative is intended to ensure wider coverage and promote a uniform, digitally enabled and institutionalized prosecution system across Meghalaya.
