Addressing the gathering, Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui lauded the delegates who travelled from different parts of the country to participate in the meet. He praised their enthusiasm, discipline and commitment, describing them as the true embodiment of the scouting and guiding spirit.
The Minister highlighted the vital contribution of tribal communities to India’s development and cultural richness. He noted that tribal societies are custodians of traditions, languages, customs and environmental stewardship, and urged young people to take pride in their identity while embracing opportunities in education, skill development and leadership.
Rymbui also encouraged participants to remain aspirational and make use of various government initiatives aimed at the welfare and empowerment of tribal communities. At the same time, he stressed the importance of preserving indigenous cultures, languages, traditions and ways of life
