Despite the intensity of the storm, no untoward incidents or casualties have been reported so far. However, electricity supply across the entire district remains affected, and power has not yet been restored due to damage to electrical infrastructure.
The Forest Department responded promptly and efficiently by clearing fallen trees at the earliest, ensuring that road connectivity remained largely unaffected. Meanwhile, the concerned authorities are actively assessing the extent of damage, including to residential properties, and are undertaking necessary measures to restore electricity supply across the district at the earliest
