Title: NH-260 Stretch from Laitlyngkot to Mawlieh Remains Closed Following Fatal Rockslide; Authorities Enforce Strict Safety Measures

Description:
This restriction shall remain in force until a thorough inspection and ground safety assessment is conducted by the competent authorities and the said under-construction road is certified fit for public use or a report with corrective suggestions is submitted whatsoever.
All concerned officials are hereby directed to:
1) Erect barricades and place proper warning signages at both ends of the affected stretch.
2) Deploy personnel to regulate traffic and prevent entry.
3) Disseminate information to the general public through appropriate means.
The Police Department, NHIDCL and its Contractor, and PWD (Roads) shall ensure strict enforcement of this order. Any violation shall attract action under relevant provisions of the law.
This order is issued in the interest of public safety and shall remain in force until further orders
