Addressing the gathering as Chief Guest, Kharkutta MLA, Shri. Rupert Momin stated that the newly inaugurated sub-centre will significantly improve the overall health care of the people in the region. He noted that “women, children and the general public stand to benefit immensely from this facility” and urged the community to make full use of the services provided under the Centre. Acknowledging the significance of the Sub Centre, MLA Rupert Momin added that the Centre will greatly benefit villagers, especially women, elderly and children who previously had to travel long distances for basic medical services. Emphasising the importance of safe childbirth practices, the MLA appealed to women to opt for institutional deliveries to reduce maternal and infant health risks
