It is hereby informed to the general public and all concerned that due to occurrence of a landslide on a section of the Shillong – Dawki road at Dawki, West Jaintia Hills District necessitating a restriction on the movement of certain vehicle types. Therefore, movement of heavy vehicles including goods laden trucks, passenger buses travelling from Lad-Umsyiem onwards upto the affected stretch at Dawki shall remain prohibited until the restoration work is completed and for which information for such completion will be declared on site. All transporters and commuters are requested to take note of this restriction and to kindly extend their cooperation
