SMB Enables Online Payment of Property Tax via Website and QR Code

The taxpayers can access the same through http://smb.gov.in or they can simply scan the QR code which is printed in the tax bills that were served by Shillong Municipal Board. Payment can be made through Debit/Credit card, Netbanking or UPI. Card payment may be charged as applicable whereas there will be no charges for payments made via UPI. All taxpayers are requested to remit their property tax through the online application for ease and convenience
