Title: East Khasi Hills Police Launch Investigation into Petrol Bomb Attack at MSPCB Office in Shillong

Two masked persons entered the premises of the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB), Lumpyngngad, Shillong, and hurled a petrol bomb at the building. The petrol bomb struck the outer wall of the building. The miscreants immediately fled the scene after the incident. The blast caused discoloration to the wall. No injuries or casualties have been reported.
Immediately upon receiving information, police personnel rushed to the spot. The Crime Scene Unit was called to the site to collect evidence and document the scene. A case has been registered at Laitumkhrah Police Station vide Case No. 121(08)2026 u/s 324(3)(6)/326(g)/3(5) BNS. Investigation into the matter has been taken up. Tight security has now been put in place in the premises of the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB)
