Title: Ri-Bhoi Police Appeal: Information Sought on Unidentified Male Deceased Found in MIDC area near Rapsang Mill, Umiam

Description:
It is to inform that on 27.07.2026, information was received from the Headman of Umiam that an unidentified dead body was found lying in a drain located in the MIDC area near Rapsang Mill. Immediately, an enquiry was conducted; however, the deceased could not be identified. After the completion of all legal formalities, including the inquest and post-mortem examination, the dead body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Mortuary, Nongpoh for identification and further necessary action. In this regard, a WT message was circulated to all OCs/ICs of Police Stations, Outposts, AD Camps, and PICs across India for the identification of the deceased.
