Title: Education Minister Inaugurates New Building of Darang L.P. School

Addressing the gathering, Rymbui highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the state government since 2018 to improve the education sector. He said that during discussions with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, the government identified four key pillars for rebuilding education- infrastructure, teachers, policy, and students, which continue to guide its reforms.
Focusing on infrastructure development, the Minister noted that several initiatives have been implemented under the Mission Education programme. He stated that the newly inaugurated school building is part of Mission Education Phase III. He further informed that under Phase IV, the government plans to construct around 680 new school buildings across the state, with each school expected to receive approximately ₹70 lakh.
He also announced that the Amlarem constituency is likely to benefit from 8 to 11 new school buildings under the upcoming phase, which is expected to significantly enhance educational facilities in the area
