Title: Launch of Campaign on Combating Child Trafficking held in North Garo Hills

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Development), North Garo Hills launched a district-wide campaign on combating child trafficking through a series of awareness programmes held across the district today.
To maximise outreach, key locations were identified for the campaign. Awareness activities were carried out at several market areas including the DC Office premises, Mendipathar Bazar, Dekachang, Mendipathar Railway Station, Bajengdoba, Gokul, Kharkutta and Adokgre.
Officials from the Education Department, Police Department, and Child Protection units, along with staff of the District Administration, actively participated in the programme
