Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma ji attended the concluding day of the four day Behdeiñkhlam Festival in Jowai on Thursday, extending his warm wishes to the Pnar community and describing the indigenous celebration a unique and joyous festival.
The Chief Minister conveyed a message of goodwill from the state of Assam to the people of Meghalaya, particularly the residents of Jaiñtia Hills. He wished the pnar community success in the celebration of the festival and extended his best wishes on the occasion.
Also present were Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Sniawbhalang Dhar, Cabinet Ministers Shri. Wailadmiki Shylla, Shri. Lahkmen Rymbui, Shri. Sosthenes Sohtun, Shri. Brening A. Sangma, Shri. Sanbor Shullai, MLA Shri. Kyrmen Shylla, CEM of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Dr. Tuliram Ronghang.
