Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Governor appreciated the initiative undertaken by IIT Guwahati and the District Administration in bringing academic and career awareness programmes to students at the district level. He emphasized the importance of creativity, innovation, and informed career choices in shaping the future of young learners and encouraged students to explore opportunities available in premier institutions across the country.

“Abhilasha 2025–26” aims to introduce school students to the fundamentals of design thinking, creativity, and innovation while creating awareness about diverse career pathways including design education, law through National Law Universities, management studies through Indian Institutes of Management, and admission opportunities in Central Universities
