Description:
The meeting deliberated on key agenda items viz. Accessible Health Care and Reducing Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Causes of Infant Mortality Rate and causes of Zero-dose children and strategies for their reduction, status of Vaccine-Preventable Disease (VPD) Surveillance, and progress of the HPV Vaccination campaign.
Following deliberations, several important decisions and action points were taken into account. District health officials were directed to ensure timely delivery of all vaccines, logistics, and immunization supplies to respective Planning Units, to facilitate smooth implementation of medical activities.
Additionally, the Social Welfare Department and School Authorities were instructed to facilitate inclusive meetings with various stake holders in order to strengthen the grassroots health and nutrition delivery system
