The order has been issued in view of the 73rd Plenary of the North Eastern Council Meeting being held at the State Convention Centre, Shillong from 3rd of June, 2026 where many VVIPs and dignitaries will be attending the said meeting.

The order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for a period w.e.f. 3rd to 5th of June, 2026
