The Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh has informed that the Chief Minister’s Meghalaya Hospitality Scholarship scheme which was launched in 2025 and being implemented through the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Shillong which aims to provide professional hospitality education with 100% tuition fee Scholarship Support to eligible candidates for the 3 years BSc degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration course with representation from different Blocks across the district of Ri-Bhoi and the state as a whole. In continuation to this initiative the scheme is once again being implemented through the IHM, Shillong for the year 2026
