Anybody who violates shall be prosecuted under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The order is necessitated in view of the information received that heavy loaded vehicles are plying through the Mawmaram-Nongthliew-Mawmih-Mawlyndep road, and plying of overloaded vehicles carrying more than nine tons has damaged portions of the road and poses danger and threat to villagers and pedestrians due to the narrow width of the road. This order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force until further orders
