The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has declared the 2nd October, 2025 as Dry Day in the entire District on account of Mahatma Gandhi Birthday / Dussehra. All bonded warehouses, IMFL, “OFF” & “ON” shops, home-made wine license premises, wine & beer bars, home deliveries, canteens and outstills shall remain closed on the above mentioned day
