Spreading awareness on environmental protection and beating plastic pollution, the World Environment Day was observed today in various areas in Resubelpara, North Garo Hills district. The Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Abhishek Saini, IAS along with Additional Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and staff of the District Administration planted tree saplings in the premises of the DC office. The event was followed by a cleaning drive in the premises wherein the DC, Dr. Abhishek Saini, IAS took the lead in the cleaning drive
