Title: Notice: Public Advisory on Testing and Commissioning of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme Phase III Gravity Main

Description:
“Testing and Commissioning of 300mm dia DI gravity main of the Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme (PHASE III) to Mawpat Reservoir” is scheduled from 30.10.2026 onwards.
Critical path of the Gravity Main is as follows:
1. From Keating Road (near Lady Keane College) to Polo through Police Bazar and Jail Road along the PWD road.
2. Jail Road to Polo Tower junction along the Municipal Road, and
3. From Polo Tower junction to Langkyrding along the PWD Road.
In this regard, the Chief Engineer, PHE, has advised the general public not be near the ROW (Right of Way) of the pipeline as indicated above during the testing and commissioning to avoid any unforeseen incidents

3. From Polo Tower junction to Langkyrding along the PWD Road.
