Title: District Level Training Programme for Census Functionaries on Phases of Census 2027

Description:
A two-day district level training for District and Charge Officials on Phases II (Population Enumeration) of Census 2027 was held at the Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Jowai on 26th and 27th October,2026.
Shri. Kyntu Shullai, MCS, Assistant Commissioner and Block Development Officer, Laskein C & RD was present at the programme.
The resource persons were Shri. Aibor Sanglyne, Deputy Director, of the Directorate of Census Operation (DCO), Meghalaya, under the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs. Government of India, Shri. Chaitanya Veer, SI II and Shri. Kyrshanlang Shanpru, JE
