The main objectives of the Mega Camp are to create widespread awareness about mediation, community mediation and its benefits among the general public, including students, youth, parents, villagers, senior citizens, Nokmas, low-income individuals and school dropouts; and also awareness on NALSA schemes and government welfare schemes, provide on-the-spot legal aid, facilitate enrollment of beneficiaries and deliver direct services through stalls/camps set up by participating departments.

As such, a free medical camp and an enrolment drive for Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)/Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) will be conducted by District Health department; while several line departments and government agencies, including DDMA, MBDA, NRLM, ITI, MSSDS, MSRLS, as well as financial institutions like SBI will participate in the Mega Camp by setting up information and service stalls. These stalls will showcase various government schemes, welfare programmes, livelihood initiatives, skill development opportunities and self-employment avenues available for the benefit of the public.

Community-based organisations and SHGs will also be provided stalls to exhibit and promote their products, creating opportunities for local entrepreneurship and market linkage.

The District Legal Services Authority, West Garo Hills, has appealed to all citizens, particularly residents of Jengjal and adjoining areas, to attend the Mega Camp and avail themselves of the various services, information and opportunities being offered under one platform
