The brief story of the case is that on 25.02.2026 information was received from the headman of Moolamanoh village that one unknown dead body was found drowned in Umsuwai river. During preliminary enquiry, the unidentified male dead body was found unclaimed. Accordingly, after observing all legal formalities at the spot, the dead body of the deceased person was removed and forwarded to Civil Hospital Khliehriat, East Jaintia Hills District for post-mortem examination and kept at the morgue room of Civil Hospital Khliehriat for conducting autopsy to ascertain the cause of death
