The National Flag was hoisted by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Meghalaya, Mrs Justice Revati Mohite Dere in the presence of Mr Justice H.S. Thangkhiew, Mr Justice W. Diengdoh, Mr Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee, and staff of the High Court.

The celebrations continued with a cultural programme held in the Auditorium, where artists from across the state showcased Meghalaya’s rich cultural heritage through performances such as Shad Mastieh, Wangala Dance, and Shad Pliang. The programme also featured a song performance by Advocate of the High Court of Meghalaya, and a cultural presentation by the Khmih Creative Society
