In view of the conduct of the 4th International Sohra Half Marathon scheduled on the 27th September, 2025 the roads from Mawkdok towards Sohra, Mawkma towards Shillong Sohra road, Laitmawsiang – Laitryngew road towards Shillong- Sohra road, Dainthlen junction, Khliehshnong, Sohra towards Shillong- Sohra road, Laitkynsew – Sohra road via Mawmluh and Lad Sohbar- Sohra road will remain closed to all vehicular traffic from 5:00 am to 9:30 am. All travellers, tourists, and members of the general public intending to travel on 27th September, 2025 are advised to kindly plan their itinerary accordingly to avoid inconvenience. However, all emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire tenders, etc., are exempt
