During the course of investigation both the accused persons namely Mebanlang Warjri and Shri Tony Paul Basaiawmoit were arrested and later Chargesheeted. On completion of Trial, the Honourable Court of Shri M. Kumar, Special Judge (POCSO), West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin has passed an Order on 25/6/2025 convicting both the accused persons mentioned above and sentenced them to undergo Life Imprisonment with fine of ₹ 50000 /- (Fifty Thousand)
