According to official information, several students from the state secured top honours in the prestigious event. Dashemphang Thongni won a gold medal in Carpentry, while Hamebansan Lawriniang clinched gold in Digital Interactive Media. Silver medals were awarded to John Maring in Automobile Technology and Deicy Swer in Graphic Design Technology. Kyrshan Paliar secured a bronze medal in Graphic Design Technology.
In addition to the medal winners, several participants were conferred the Medallion of Excellence for their commendable performances. The recipients include Anisha Ch Marak (Cooking), Larisuk Sohtun (Restaurant Service), Ilarisha Matlang (Restaurant Service), Malvareen Umsong (Bakery), and Fredickson K. Mawrie (Electrical Installations).
Officials stated that the strong showing by Meghalaya’s participants reflects the growing skill potential and competitiveness of the state’s youth at the regional level
