Title: Online Applications for the 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) in the District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs)
Description:
Online Applications are invited from candidates who are citizens of India and residing in Meghalaya aspiring to become teachers at Elementary Level for admission to the 2-Year D.El.Ed Course for the academic session 2020-22 offered at the 7 (seven) District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts). Candidates who have passed Class XII or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils with 50% marks (5% relaxable for ST/SC/OBC/PWD) are eligible to apply. Candidates waiting for Class XII Results are also eligible to apply.
• The minimum Age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years as on 01.01.2020 relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD
• Selection Procedure:
Entrance Test.
Counselling
The selection procedure will be based on merit as per block quota
• Reservation Policy:
Selection will be done in order of merit as per Meghalaya Govt. Reservation Policy for different communities of the state.
5% of the seat will be reserved for Persons With Disabilities.
