Among those who called on the Chief Minister were representatives from Synod Sepngi and Mawphlang Presbytery, Holy Eucharist Church, The Lou Majaw Foundation, and noted woodcraft artist Gilford Pde from Jowai. Discussions centred on matters relating to church events, cultural initiatives, promotion of arts and crafts, environmental activities, and requests for government support.
The Chief Minister also met delegations from the Meghalaya ASHA Workers Union, All Meghalaya Grade IV Government Employees Association, Meghalaya Election Enumerators' Service Association (MEESA), and teacher trainees of DIET. The groups raised issues pertaining to welfare measures, honorarium, service matters, infrastructure requirements, sports-related concerns, and pending educational stipends.
Representatives of Bosco Integrated Development Society briefed the Chief Minister on ongoing development initiatives and community projects being undertaken in different parts of the State.
During subsequent meetings, the Chief Minister interacted with the Meghalaya Poultry Farmers and Welfare Association, All Khasi Hills A·chik Federation, Khasi Jaintia Government Contractors and Suppliers Association, Jaintia Hills Cement Manufacturers Association, Hynniewtrep Youth Development Council, and Hynniewtrep Border Dispute Redressal Forum.
Discussions covered employment generation, industrial growth, recruitment-related concerns, contractors' issues, labour welfare, youth employment opportunities, and matters relating to border villages
