Details
The North Eastern Council (NEC), under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), released substantial funds during November 2025 for the State of Meghalaya. An amount of ₹8,46,81,382/- was released for various development programmes supporting sports and youth infrastructure, bridge connectivity, institutional facilities for skill and technical education, and livelihood-oriented craft clusters, thereby enhancing both connectivity and income opportunities
